It´s time to experiment with Hooke´s law! The graphic on the left is known (example: Elastic Modulus/Young´s Modulus). Now you can vary the tension load at two bars with different cross sections and see how much they would deform. Operate the slider for scaling the deformation if you want to see the differences more clearly. How do bars react if you change the load? Why does one deform more than the other? Keep the load constant and change the material (E-Modulus). What happens now?
